Plain-English meanings for the words Bevizio uses. Something missing? Email hello@bevizio.com and a person will add it.
- Named
- The AI's answer used your name. Bevizio counts an answer as naming you when your name appears in the answer, or when the AI cites your own website as a source.
- Cited instead of you
- The AI named or linked to another company when you were not named.
- Answer
- One reply from one AI engine to one question. A count such as “named in 5 of 8 answers” is always out of real answers, never an estimate.
- Question
- A question a buyer might ask, written from your website. It never contains your name. Each question is usually asked 8 times a week.
- Engine
- An AI service we ask: ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity or Google AI Overviews. Local businesses are checked on ChatGPT, Gemini, Google AI Mode and Claude.
- Search Console
- Google's free tool that shows how your site does in Google searches. Connecting it lets Bevizio show which of your pages gained or lost clicks.
- Click
- Someone clicked a page of yours in Google's search results. Search Console counts them.
- Page title and description
- The two lines Google and AI summaries show for a page. A page with none, or with the same as another page, is worth a look.
- Noindex
- A hidden note on a page that asks search engines not to list it. Useful for private pages; a mistake on a page you want found.
- Machine-readable labels (structured data)
- Hidden notes in a page that say what it is about, such as a product, a recipe or a business.
- Research included in your plan
- Each month your plan covers some searches we run for you, such as comparing two pages or finding keyword ideas. It is already paid for in your plan. If you use it up, research waits until your next billing date and nothing extra is charged.
- Worth checking
- A suggestion tied to something we measured. It is a thing to look at, never a promise that a change will help or a claim about why something happened.
- Site log
- A record of changes you made to your site and when. It lets you read a movement in your numbers against what you changed. It records what changed, never why.
