Connect Cursor to your Bevizio numbers
You need a Bevizio account with an active plan or trial, and Cursor. We haven’t found a Cursor plan requirement. No key and no terminal are needed.
Steps
- Add this entry to Cursor’s
mcp.json(in your home folder,.cursor/mcp.json; create the file if it isn’t there). If the file already has anmcpServerssection, add just thebeviziopart inside it. - Restart Cursor, then open Customize and MCPs. Bevizio appears in the list.
- Press Authenticate (some versions say Connect or Needs login). Your browser opens Bevizio.
- Sign in if it asks, check that the page says “Connect Cursor” and that it sends you back to cursor.com, and press Allow.
- Back in Cursor, Bevizio shows its tools as enabled. Start a new chat and ask your first question, below.

Using Bevizio, how often is my product named by each AI engine, and how fresh is the data?Check it: open your Bevizio dashboard on the Overview page, last 28 days. The counts should match what Cursor says, give or take an answer collected in between.
The entry to add
{
"mcpServers": {
"bevizio": {
"url": "https://www.bevizio.com/api/mcp"
}
}
}Cursor also has a New MCP Server button on the Customize screen. We saw it but haven’t tried it, so these steps use the file. After you press Disconnect in Bevizio, Cursor asks you to Authenticate again, then connects normally.
If you let it make changes
Bevizio cannot make an assistant ask before it changes something. Whether it asks is the assistant’s own setting, so check it before you allow changes, and consider starting with “Add and remove notes only”. Every change is listed in Bevizio under Settings, Connected assistants.
On October 26, 2026 Cursor ran every change without showing an approval box. On October 28 our screenshots showed none either, and the assistant itself asked us in chat to confirm an undo and an archive (Bevizio’s tool text asks it to), but we did not confirm Cursor’s own approval setting: check that setting before you allow changes. Cursor reads Bevizio’s tools when it connects and keeps that list, so after you allow changes restart Cursor (that made it list the change tools in our October 28 test). Switching Bevizio’s entry off and on, or pressing Reload in its Bevizio window, should do the same; we did not try those. Do not press Logout: that makes a new read-only connection.
Disconnect
In Bevizio, open Settings, then Connected assistants, and press Disconnect next to Cursor. That ends the connection at once and leaves your other assistants alone. If you only remove the connector inside Cursor, Bevizio may keep listing the old connection, and it stays valid until you press Disconnect here, so do both.
If something doesn’t work, see troubleshooting. What the connection can read, and what it can’t do, is on the assistant page.
