Connect Claude to your Bevizio numbers
You need a Bevizio account with an active plan or trial, and a Claude account. Custom connectors are available on Claude’s Free, Pro, Max, Team and Enterprise plans, and Free allows one. On Team and Enterprise, an owner adds the connector first (Organization settings, then Connectors), and then each member connects to it (Anthropic’s help page, read October 19, 2026). The steps below are for an individual plan.
Steps
- In Claude, open Customize, then Connectors, then Add, then Add custom connector.
- Name it Bevizio. Paste the address below as the server address.
- Leave the sign-in settings on what Claude detects: “Sign in now” and “Use Claude’s published identity”. Leave the request headers empty. Finish adding the connector.
- Bevizio opens in your browser. Sign in if it asks, check that the page says “Connect Claude” and that it sends you back to claude.ai, and press Allow.
- Back in Claude, Bevizio is listed with its tools. In our tests on October 26 and 28, 2026, Claude.ai asked before each tool ran; “Always allow” skips the question.
- Start a new chat and ask your first question, below.
https://www.bevizio.com/api/mcpYour first question
Using Bevizio, how often is my product named by each AI engine, and how fresh is the data?Check it: open your Bevizio dashboard on the Overview page, last 28 days. The counts should match what Claude says, give or take an answer collected in between.
If you let it make changes
Bevizio cannot make an assistant ask before it changes something. Whether it asks is the assistant’s own setting, so check it before you allow changes, and consider starting with “Add and remove notes only”. Every change is listed in Bevizio under Settings, Connected assistants.
In our tests on October 26, 2026 (a product) and October 28, 2026 (a local business), Claude.ai picked up the permission about an hour after we saved it; starting a new chat or refreshing the tool list did not speed it up. Do not disconnect and reconnect to hurry it: every reconnect makes a new connection that starts read only, so the hour starts again. Settings then lists several Claude rows, which is normal, and “Make every Claude connection read only” switches them all. On both days Claude.ai asked before every tool call, including reading your numbers, and showed exactly what it was about to do: press Allow once, not Always allow, if you want to keep being asked.
Disconnect
In Bevizio, open Settings, then Connected assistants, and press Disconnect next to Claude. That ends the connection at once and leaves your other assistants alone. If you only remove the connector inside Claude, Bevizio may keep listing the old connection, and it stays valid until you press Disconnect here, so do both.
If something doesn’t work, see troubleshooting. What the connection can read, and what it can’t do, is on the assistant page.
